Mountain View, CA – To the relief of students and professors everywhere, Google announced today that they added “David Bentley Hart” as a new language to Google Translate.
As with other foreign language websites, this feature allows for quick translation of Hart’s First Things articles, and you can always type difficult text into the Detect language box when reading one of his books.
One student said, “Without this new feature, how would I have understood ‘preachments and preenings.’ Who says that?”
When asked about the feature, Hart replied, via the Translate by speech function in the Android app, “Hog wash.”
A spokesperson for Google explained that only 10 people in the entire world can translate Hart’s language at one time, but they project they will have the computing power to do 20 in five years.
